In the frame of the 4th European Speleological Congress "Vercors 2008" that will be held from 23 to 30th of August 2008 in Lans-en-Vercors (French Alps), we invite all the European cavers to present the results of their works. Στα πλαίσια του 4ου Σπηλαιολογικού Συνεδρίου "Vercors 2008"¨που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 23 ως τις 30 Αυγούστου 2008 στο Lans-en-Vercors (Γαλλικές Άλπεις), προσκαλούμε όλους τους Ευρωπαίους σπηλαιολόγους να παρουσιάσουν τα αποτελέσματα των αποστολών τους. Η παρουσίαση μπορεί να γίνει με γραφήματα, σκίτσα, χάρτες, φωτογραφίες, προβολή διαφανειών, βίντεο, πόστερ κ.ά.

Για το λόγο αυτό, παρακαλείσθε να στείλετε πριν από τις 15 Νοεμβρίου 2007 email στο articles.vercors@ffspeleo.fr με τις παρακάτω πληροφορίες στα αγγλικά ή στα γαλλικά (επίσημες γλώσσες του συνεδρίου) σε αρχεία .rtf ή .doc: επιλεγμένες ενότητες (δείτε στο http://vercors2008.ffspeleo.fr/events/s ... m#menupage), τίτλο, συγραφέα, 5 λέξεις-κλειδιά, μια περίληψη (200 λέξεων το μέγιστο, αν είναι δυνατόν και στις 2 γλώσσες) και το μέσο παρουσίασης (powerpoint, video, slides, slideshow, κλπ).
Το πλήρες άρθρο (το πολύ 4 σελίδες, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των φωτογραφιών) θα πρέπει να έχει φτάσει πριν από τις 15 Σεπτεμβρίου 2008 ώστε να δημοσιευθεί στα πρακτικά.

Επίσης υπάρχει η δυνατότητα παρουσίασης στο Vercors 2008 στο ευρωπαϊκό φεστιβάλ ταινιών ¨EuroSpeloImage’Inn”:

- Videos
- Slideshows

Έχω την χαρά να σας ανακοινώσω ότι έχουμε κλείσει ένα λυόμενο στο κάμπιγκ Autrans: http://www.camping-du-vercors.fr/ στα δέκα λεπτά από τα δρώμενα του συνεδρίου. Το σπιτάκι μας θα είναι ανοιχτό σε όλους τους Έλληνες σπηλαιολόγους από 23-30 Αυγούστου, θα έχει ρεύμα και ντουζιέρα, και άλλα καλά. Όλοι οι καλοί χωράνε - και όσοι δεν θέλουν να χωράνε μπορούν να στήσουνε κοντά σκηνές.

ΥΓ: το Autrans βρίσκεται εδώ: κλικ - σώσιμο - άνοιγμα με Google Earth - στην γωνία δεξιά φαίνεται και το Lans en Vercors που φιλοξενεί το συνέδριο.

Ρώτησα για τις συνθήκες στα σπήλαια που θα έχουν αρματωθεί για το Eurospeleo (περισσότερα από 9 χλμ σχοινιού θα χρησιμοποιηθούν να αρματώσουν τα σπήλαια της περιοχής - μέσα στα οποία είναι και το περιβόητο Berger - το πρώτο χιλιάρι του πλανήτη!).

Η απάντηση ήταν η αναμενόμενη:

Yes caves are between 6 to 7°C, and some like Berger are quite wet.nCordura and PVC are both suitable for Vercors.nNeoprene or latex suit is necessary for the bottom part of Berger.nThe water flow depends on the rain.nSome caves are forbidden when it rains even a bit.

δηλαδή:

Οι σπηλιές είναι σε θερμοκρασίες μεταξύ 6 και 7 βαθμούς και κάποια όπως το Berger είναι και βρεμμένα πολύ. Και Cordura και PVC είναι κατάλληλα για τις σπηλιές του Vercors. Για τον πάτο του Berger η χρήση Neoprene ή φόρμας latex είναι αναγκαία. Παίζει ρόλο η βροχόπτωση για τη ροή των νερών. Σε κάποιες σπηλιές απαγορεύεται η είσοδος με την παραμικρή βροχή.

Οπότε, μην πάει κανείς με πάνινη φόρμα και λέει μετά ότι δεν ενημερώθηκε για τις συνθήκες από την επιτροπή διεθνών της ομοσπονδίας.
