Εαν τοποθετήσουμε τις μπαταρίες κάπως μακρύτερα από το DistoX μπορούμε να γλυτώσουμε το "βαρετό" & συχνό καλιμπράρισμα της συσκευής:

Hi,
In the club were I’m member from we have 2 distox – A3’s. In the beginning we had the same problem. But bringing the batteries outside the disto via a wire solved the problem.

Subject: Tip for DistoX cells
There are many problems with recalibration after each cell change. There is idea to use "non magnetically" cells as ZnCl primary cells are. These cell have no enough current capacity for laser measurement so only about 100 shots one may do. I tested the DistoX calibration with three sets of ZnCl batteries:
Standard test: four measurements with 90° rotation, one backside, no recalibration between measurements with different sets of batteries.
1. set:
9,7
9,7
9,8
9,7
189,3
2. set:
9,4
9,8
9,7
8,9
189,3
3. set:
9,7
9,7
9,3
9,0
189,1
It was quite cold, so my hands were not rock stabile
Just practical experience:
Don't make shots too fast. Short delay will increase the utilizable capacity of ZnCl batteries.
First sign that batteries are empty is that DistoX will off itself after measurement. One may do several measurements more with longer delay, but not many. DistoX memory will be still OK.
